Behold, I have refined thee,
but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. Isaiah 48:10 As a Christian I am sometimes consigned by the Lord to go through my own furnace of affliction... Yesterday marked 32 years since my arrest. It is not an anniversary to celebrate, however. But, by the grace of God, it is a milestone and a testimony to God's power to keep me safe, alive and healthy after more than thirty years of incarceration...
And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 I wish to thank everyone who's been praying for me. I am more than grateful for those prayers... Earlier today, as is done every weekend morning after breakfast, the prison's doctor made his rounds to check on each patient...
It's Sunday evening. There was no church for me to go to today. It felt peculiar not being able to attend services...
