Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I also will
keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come
upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Could it be true?

Could it be true?
Is it going to happen soon, or at a later time in my life? The Messiah's coming to snatch me away to heaven. Whether sooner or later, I'm ready. This is the eternal hope every child of God longs for, Christ's calling His bride to come up into the clouds, where they will then be lovingly ushered into glory.
As I look upon the world, it seems as if tragedy and evil are on the increase. Diseases. Catastrophic fires on the West Coast, devouring entire towns in a flash of flame. Millions losing their jobs. Record floods. Earthquakes. Even the polar ice caps are melting.
Then in some nations there is civil unrest, and in America, looting and arson, racial hatred, and increasing anger in the hearts of many. It's as if a hidden rage has come to the surface, unleashing its fury upon humanity. Neighbor against neighbor.
The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, has many references to the "day of the Lord," the "end times," and "the last days." Could these days really be upon us? Is God sending us warnings to awaken out of our slumber? This is an urgent matter to consider, and then act upon with minds and hearts of repentance, and the faith to believe in His forgiveness, and His ultimate goodness.
As Christ himself said, "Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts become filled with greed and drunkenness. That the cares of this life cause you to be caught in a state of unawareness. For the day of the Lord will spring upon you like a snare to all who dwell on the face of the earth."
Messiah Jesus then went on to say, warning everyone to, "pray always so that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that are coming upon the earth. That you will be ready to stand before the Son of God" (Luke 21:34-36).
Please, please wake up! Eternity is ahead. This world will not go on forever. God, as promised in the Scriptures, is preparing a new heaven and a new earth where only those who've been redeemed by the Lord Jesus and washed in His blood, will dwell.
