And I thank Him for His wonderful salvation, and for allowing me the chance to repent of all my sins and receive Jesus Christ as my Savior. My God delights in showing mercy (Micah 7:18-20).
I don’t think I’ve shared this before, but almost every church fellowship that’s behind prison walls in New York has a name for that particular congregation.
When I was a member of the chapel fellowship at Sullivan Correctional Facility, we called ourselves “The Church of the Prodigal Sons.” While in Shawangunk, we’re known as the “New Life in Christ Church.”
Yes, God is at work in jails and prisons all over the world, saving souls and giving men and women hope, and the promise of a better future.
