With summer coming to an end, and after weeks of intense spiritual warfare, the Lord has made it clear to me that it's time to rest...
I need time for physical and emotional recuperation from a summer of stress that has left me exhausted.
As expected, the Lord Jesus Christ, as the Good Shepherd of His flock, knows what I need. So while I continue to go to my assigned prison jobs at both the library and chapel, as well as continue to answer correspondence, I am not to take on anything else. No projects. No volunteering. Nothing!
Being hyperactive by nature and a chronic over-achiever as well, I will definitely need the Lord's help to slow down until my strength returns, and it will. That's because I'm in the hands of a good God. It's the best place to be.
