The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He
will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will
rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.

The Jewish New Year known as Rosh Hashana begins tomorrow at sundown. Rosh Hashana also officially starts what is known by us Jews as the "Days of Awe."
As a believer in Jesus as the Messiah, I know that every day of the year is holy unto the Lord. Nevertheless, Rosh Hashana and the holidays which follow behind it are rich in Jewish history and Bible prophecy. For me, this is also a time to spend in reflection for all God has done in my life, and how He has answered my prayers.
The Lord knows I love Him. That I want to be used by Him for His glory and honor, and how I never again want to serve the devil. Besides, I think it is only a matter of time before I will see the Almighty and King of the Universe for myself. My eyes will behold the Creator in all His beauty and majesty. I long for the day.
