And Jesus said unto them, Go
ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:15
In a recent letter, a professor from a Liberal Arts college in New Jersey asked me what gives me the greatest satisfaction...
He is not a Christian. So I knew he was not coming from a spiritual standpoint. But my answer was, having the opportunity to share my faith and tell others about God’s mercy, and His love for mankind. That He is willing and able to grant forgiveness from sin to all who call upon Jesus Christ in faith, and with a heart of repentance.
I told this professor that I receive joy and satisfaction whenever such opportunities come my way, be it with one individual, or through my printed testimony or by any other means. Having the occasion to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to a lost world is a privilege. It warms my heart to be able to do this. And even if my message is not accepted, as is sometimes the case, for there are mockers and doubters, I am still thankful because God can in due time soften such hard hearts. I’ve no doubt that those who reject Christ today, could end up inviting Him into their hearts tomorrow. And this is my hope.
