Where there is no vision,
the people perish...
Proverbs 29:18a
In spite of whatever difficulties I encounter in life, I have never lost my vision of hope...
the people perish...
Proverbs 29:18a
In spite of whatever difficulties I encounter in life, I have never lost my vision of hope...
As is so often the case, there are always obstacles on the path, and many setbacks, too. Yet, by the grace of God, I continued to go forward with hope, determination and joy. Why? Because I know there is victory ahead for me, and there is victory now.
No matter the circumstances, I am confident that the Lord has great things for my life, even if such things may seem small by society's standards. For what may be of great value in the eyes of God, may be seen as worthless junk to the world, and the way many people view life.
As it says in the book of Proverbs, that without a vision from the Lord - not so much an actual vision - but rather it's an inward knowing and a deep assurance inside of one's heart, the Christian will perish. In other words, one's hopes and dreams can die. But such is not the case with me, since my God is a God of Hope (Romans 15:13). Therefore, His people must maintain our hope in Him, always trusting that all things will work out for the good, eventually.
Thus, my vision is as real today as it was more than twenty years ago when I first got saved.
