For God so loved the world, that
He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believes in Him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.

"Placing my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was the best decision of my life, while giving my soul to Satan was the worst decision. But that's in the past now, and by the grace and goodness of God my life has been moving forward.
"Yet I continue to pray for those who lost a loved one because of my criminal acts, and for those who were injured and traumatized, and continue to suffer as a result, as well.
"Steven, you said you are 'searching for peace.' Well guess what? That's one of the reasons Jesus came into the world. First, to help us make our peace with God, as our sins and transgressions made us 'enemies of God' (Colossians 1:20-22).
"Secondly, Jesus came to give us peace from within. As the Lord promised to those who became His followers through repentance and faith in Him, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart to troubled, neither let it be afraid' (John 14:27).
"Steven, if you want to make peace with God, and if you want to have a real and lasting peace in your heart and mind, then put your trust in Jesus. Simply confess to Him that you are sorry for any and all sins, and the bad things you may have done and said to others. That you wish to be forgiven, and that you want to have Christ come to dwell in your heart starting right now, and forever. Please tell Him this.
"As Jesus declared, 'Those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them' (John 6:37 NLT). So there you have it. God loves you. He wants you to put your faith in His Son. And no matter how unworthy and undeserving you may feel to receive forgiveness, He implores you to ask. You will not be turned away. God is love, and you will understand this better after you take that first step and ask Jesus to forgive you, and come into your heart.
"My best to you, Steven. And if you do not already have one, please get a copy of the New Testament. I'll be keeping you in my prayers."
