Triumph has a voice...
I never saw it quite this way before, but this morning the first verse of Psalm 47 stood out in a different way. God's children were created to be winners. With the Lord on our side, how can we lose? There is no defeating us because the Lord is with us.
I've got many things to thank Messiah Jesus for. He has done countless miracles in my life, even in spite of my many sins and shortcomings. Therefore, I will clap my hands together as I shout to the Lord with the voice of triumph. I hereby give praise to His wonderful name! My God is filled with power, wisdom, and strength.
"But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57). "Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ..." (2 Corinthians 2:14).
These words from the Scriptures brought lots of encouragement my way today. Amen!
