blessing in heavenly places in Christ.

I'd like to thank all my Christian friends for praying for the church here at Shawangunk Correctional Facility...
By the grace of God, our small flock has managed to continue to serve the Lord with joy and gladness of heart. And while our chaplain remains on a prolonged leave of absence, the staff at the facility has allowed our weekday Bible studies to continue.
Also, because of the COVID situation in which no ministerial volunteers have been allowed into the prison since early March, I've had to fill in on Tuesday evenings, while another member of our congregation covers the Thursday class. Thus far it has worked out well.
This past Tuesday, I began taking the guys through the apostle Paul's letter to the church in the city of Ephesus. We finished our two-month study on the seven churches in chapters two and three of the books of the Revelation. Now we're going into another portion of the Scriptures.
The men seemed especially enthusiastic about this new series of lessons. We're going through Ephesians verse by verse. It's one of Paul's most spiritually enriching letters. I want the men to see who they are in Christ, and to better understand the many spiritual riches that are available to every one of them, whether he's been a follower of Messiah Jesus for five minutes or fifty years.
I am believing my heavenly Father that both myself and my beloved brothers will be challenged to grow more and more in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, and in His Word. I want them to comprehend how big our God is, how powerful, and loving.
