Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity!

I've been taking the men through Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus, a place that was once a bustling city, but is now mostly an attraction for tourists. It was in Ephesus, however, where the apostle Paul preached some of his greatest sermons.
I was deeply encouraged by the enthusiasm the men displayed as we read each verse one by one, analyzed the verse, and shared our thoughts on what we just read. Since we're a small group - ten of us - we do a lot of sharing. My classes are not lectures. I want to keep the study open and intimate.
Each class lasts ninety minutes. This is our allotted time. For the first twenty to thirty minutes we would socialize a bit, then pray and share prayer requests, sing several praise and worship songs, and then begin the study. Tonight, the men seemed especially energized. It was an enjoyable time. The main theme of today's class was understanding the fullness of Christ and how amazing He is. Which is far more than we could imagine.
