But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God:
I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
Psalm 52:8
It is only by the grace of God that I could accomplish as much as I do while living under the adverse circumstances and conditions of incarceration...

Writing from behind prison walls is a challenge. Oftentimes, the overpowering levels of noise, and the constant disruptions which accompany prison life, hammer away at my concentration and patience.
But I also find writing to be therapeutic. I sense something of an inner healing whenever I write. Most of all, writing in my journal allows readers to see who I really am, and not what the entertainment industry or the media wants people to believe about me.
I want to honor God with whatever I put on paper. In the past, and in my ignorance, I wanted to honor the Devil. But no more!
Nevertheless, doing any serious writing in this environment requires help from my Creator and deep determination from the depths of my soul.
