Autumn is my favorite time of the year...
It’s not quite here yet, however, but it will be shortly.
The summer brought with it the highest humidity on record, I believe. It was dreadful here as we don’t have air conditioning in the housing units. Yet by the grace of God, I made it through another summer.
In the Hudson Valley where I now live the leaves on the trees will soon be changing colors from green to an assortment of reds, browns, and oranges. Unfortunately, the windows in the cell blocks only face dingy court yards. So I don’t get to see much of nature except when I go to the big outdoor recreation yard, or if I get placed in the Infirmary, which I certainly pray doesn’t happen. I’m looking forward to fall.
