It has been a big test of my faith to somehow maintain my walk with the Lord while living here...
I know I have many flaws, and I'm still a "work in progress," as is every disciple of Christ.
Shawangunk has a dark spirit ruling over it. I sensed it the moment I arrived here back in April 2016. There are spirits of anger and despair in this place. But it's prison, and varying degrees of demonic strongholds are to be expected. This is what I've been discerning
In fact, lately there's been lots of gang activity to include more fights, although not all of them are gang related. Drugs abound as well.
Yet, as the month comes to a close, I want to thank the Lord for seeing me through it. I received some encouraging correspondence and good reports in October of my story touching many lives, inspiring them to seek a relationship with the Lord. It's all God's doing, and I give Him the praise. What more can I say? God is good!
