On this Sunday morning, as I was sitting in the recreation area of my housing unit...
...awaiting the announcement to come over the public address system for church services to begin, the officer who was on duty stopped by my table to chat with me.
We began our conversation talking about the fall season, and how pretty this area of New York is at this time of the year.
Then our conversation turned to Christ. We spoke for maybe eight minutes at the most, but it was a pleasant talk. I was able to briefly share with him how I came to have faith in Jesus Christ. He seemed to be listening eagerly and attentively, which surprised me. Usually, people will get uncomfortable when someone starts to talk about God. It was a good start for my day.
