The Christian's journey through life can be likened to a lengthy learning process...
As the Bible declares, we go from faith to faith, and glory to glory. In other words, as we walk with Christ, we will encounter all kinds of trials, followed by a spiritual victory that awaits the Christian at the close of each particular trial. It's a God-ordained and God-orchestrated process which causes us to grow, spiritually, as we go. "But we... are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18)."
You see, our faith is developed through our trials, provided that we remain faithful to the Lord, and do not give up. Then, whenever a trial ends, there is glory. However, this is not about taking the glory for ourselves. Rather, the glory is the Lord's. For He is the One who has kept us and guided us through the trial. He has likewise given the Christian the strength to endure it.
Therefore, for the child of God, everything we go through is for our learning, and for our spiritual development. But to Jesus belongs the glory, and we simply share in His glory.
