And let us not be weary in
well doing: for in due season
we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9
I continue to wait upon the Lord for my strength to be renewed...

Galatians 6:9
I continue to wait upon the Lord for my strength to be renewed...
I've been praying as well for the rekindling of the gospel's fire to burn afresh in my heart, and at the level of intensity it did in times past.
Meanwhile, as I wait upon the Lord, I have to go about my normal routines of work and chores. In addition, I am occupied with the various Bible studies and chapel services here at the prison. And this morning, as I was spending time reading my Bible, I was especially encouraged by a particular verse. "Do not become weary in your service to the Lord, and as you help your fellow saints. Because if you do not quit or give up, you will eventually reap a huge harvest of spiritual blessings." This is my personal paraphrase of Galatians 6:9.
Frankly, I have been weary and exhausted. I feel worn out. And at times it seems as if I cannot take another step before I collapse. Yet I have no doubt that Jesus is carrying me. His divine strength and power is being demonstrated through my weakness. For when I am tired and weak, the Lord Jesus remains strong.
