These are some of the most beautiful and encouraging words a person can hear...
That God has chosen to forgive all your sins because you have placed your faith in His Son Jesus. As the Scripture declares, God now sees you as a new person. Your former life of failure is gone, and a new life has begun.
So it was no surprise when a couple from Belgium, who are friends of mine, sent a letter to me saying the following: "Just yesterday another report came on television about your former life. It made us realize how spiritually blind these experts are about what the devil or demons can do... It is so sad that the most beautiful story about what Jesus did with your life is not told. That is a bigger testimony about how the devil was defeated in your life, than all the attention he gets with your former life... "
My friends also said, "We are thankful for your story of redemption and the spiritual work you do... Keep up the good work. We keep you in our hearts and prayers."
I am grateful for my many friends who recognize what God has done in my life. For them, my salvation is a miracle story. But for the media, sadly, and for the most part, they would rather go with their crime stories which they find more financially profitable than a story of redemption.
I have no animosity towards these media outlets and those within the entertainment industry who've chosen to bypass stories about the redemption of those who were once criminals. Yet, I will not allow this to deter me from proclaiming my message to humankind that "Jesus Saves!"
