For with God nothing
shall be impossible.
Luke 1:37
I believe we are living in an era of addiction...
shall be impossible.

I believe we are living in an era of addiction...
Opioids, for instance, are showing up almost everywhere, even in small towns. So are methamphetamines. Many are dying as a result. While many more struggle to be set free from the addictive powers these things have.
And there are other drugs, as well, including alcohol. Substances that have the ability to put their victims into an early grave, or leave them sick and broken, and only a mere shell of their former selves.
Thankfully, however, there are people who care about those who are in the grip of addiction. They want to see them set free from chemical slavery and the physical and mental torment that drugs and alcohol bring.
A number of my friends are such people. They are members of churches. They care about those who are trapped in addictive lifestyles. They know their pain because they themselves were once bound by addictions. But they've since been set free from them by God's divine intervention.
Therefore, they have devoted their lives to help free those who are trapped and enslaved as they once were. They have established programs within their respective churches to help these victims overcome their harmful behaviors.
In addition, because of my own salvation experience and supernatural deliverance from satanic bondage, my friends will sometimes share my story with those in their respective groups. Thankfully, with positive results.
Therefore, I will, on occasion, be asked to give a message of encouragement to their groups in order to tell them how the Lord loves them and will not reject them. I will also encourage those in recovery not to give up on themselves, because God will never give up on them.
Just this past week, I was asked to write a short message of hope to a faith-based recovery group in California. And I also received a request to give a similar message to a group in Alabama.
I am deeply thankful and humbled for every opportunity to share my faith. Nothing is impossible for the Lord.
