Strength From Others

11/28/2019

And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them:
and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither
shall they be lacking, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 23:4

As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I know that my strength comes from Him...
He has sustained me throughout my years of continuous incarceration, and I am grateful. However, the Lord will often work through my fellow Christians to encourage and sustain me, as well.

I know God has used my story of redemption in order to demonstrate the fact that no one is beyond the reach of His love and forgiveness. My testimony is living proof of this. As I have said many times, “If God can forgive me of my sins, He can and will do the same for others.” Jesus is always ready to forgive if they would call upon His name.

Furthermore, the Lord has also used my life as a means to encourage fellow Christians who are facing various trials and difficulties, to remain faithful to Him, and to persevere. Others look at the challenges and situations I go through as I serve the Lord in a tough environment, yet remain faithful to Messiah Jesus. Those who take note of this see my devotion to Him and are thereby strengthened in their walk with the Savior too.

It appears that in Christ my life has a twofold purpose. Firstly, by letting people know that God can forgive them of any and all sins if they ask Him to. Secondly, that no matter how difficult life may get, believers can endure their troubles through the inner strength the Lord provides us with. That none need ever to give up or lose their faith.
