Earlier today I was thinking about what kind of mark I, as a follower of the Lord Jesus, will leave behind when it's time for me to depart from this earth...

Earlier today I was thinking about what kind of mark I, as a follower of the Lord Jesus, will leave behind when it's time for me to depart from this earth...
We know that every person leaves behind his or her DNA. We also leave behind what is nowadays been called the “human footprint.”
I hope that, regardless of my criminal past, of which I deeply regret, I will have left behind some degree of the sweet fragrance of Christ himself.
I hope, as well, that I have given my fellow believers in Messiah Jesus, a reasonably good example of what Jesus is like. That they would say of me, “David was a good example of what a Christian should be.” Not a perfect example, of course, but at least a good one. And if this is the case, I will be pleased.
