Earlier this evening five inmates including myself met together in an unoccupied classroom...
...where we gathered for a special meal in honor of Veterans Day, which is this Friday. It was a pleasant time of fellowship, but also a time to honor, pay our respects to, and pray for all those who served our country. We especially prayed for all of America's veterans who are currently struggling with joblessness, homelessness, addictions, physical and mental health issues, or who may be experiencing difficulties in other ways. We asked God to help our fellow veterans, whoever they are, and wherever they may be. We refuse to forget them, and we hope other veterans will not forget us.
