Keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 21
My life appears to be moving on an even keel...
looking for the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

My life appears to be moving on an even keel...
I continue to work at my job. I'm still attending chapel services and Bible studies. And yesterday Reverend Herbert Dalton,* who pastors a church in New York City, gave an enlightening message on "making a monument to God."
Minister Dalton spoke on how the Israelites, after they won a major battle or witnessed a great miracle, would erect a monument to honor the Lord as well as use it to remind the people of what God did for them at such a place and time, and that we, as the church, need to do the same. This being, making mental monuments of all the times the Lord answered our prayers and moved on our behalf in amazing and supernatural ways.
He also asked us to be "wounded healers." To always be ready to give help and comfort, and words of encouragement, to our fellow prisoners who may be going through a difficult situation. Pastor Dalton urged us to look for ways to be a blessing to others. It was a timely sermon!
