Earlier today, I was both surprised and blessed by some unexpected comments from an inmate who is of the Islamic faith...
He is a Muslim who is housed in the Special Needs Unit (E-North) where I work on weekdays as a caregiver. He told me how much he appreciates my kindness, and how the talks he and I are having has deeply impacted him. His words left me feeling grateful and humbled.
We've been reading select Scriptures from the Bible, and then we'd discuss the passages or verses that were read. I'm happy that someone who professes faith in Islam seems very open to the Word of God, and the claims of Jesus Christ himself being more than a prophet, but is also the very Son of God.
