The Lord opened hearts today...
I had a very fruitful time this afternoon discussing spiritual matters with several men from the Intermediate Care Program, where I work in the afternoons. I care about and love these men, and I consider it a privilege to be able to go into this area of the facility to work with and show compassion to those whom prison officials consider to me very emotionally troubled men. My own assessment
would consider their plight to be more spiritual in nature. Nevertheless, these fragile men need a lot of personal care and attention. Most of all, like everyone else in the world, each one needs a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Today, some were particularly open to talking about God and the Bible. Of course, I will talk to any of them about any reasonable topic. But to see an interest in spiritual matters encouraged me greatly. This was an answer to many prayers.
