Honoring the Lord

Let the words of my mouth, and 
the meditations of my heart, be 
​acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, 
​my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 19:14

Being a Christian is not easy...

It requires self-denial and having to pick up one's cross to follow Jesus. And with this in mind, my desire is to honor the Lord with whatever I can put down on paper, be it an ordinary letter to encourage a friend, or a message to a church's youth group, or it might be an entry in my journal, like this one, or a sermon outline for a message I am preparing to share in church.

Whatever I write, I pray I will ultimately bring glory to Jesus Christ. That, my words will somehow be anointed by the Holy Spirit that they may bring life, encouragement and hope to someone, or it may be a stern but, loving admonition, when necessary, to be used for good and help keep someone on the right path.

In all things, I want to speak correctly and write the same way. This is my desire.
