God is good, and I continue to trust in Him, even when things don't always seem to make sense (Proverbs 3:5-6)...
And by God's grace I have been doing what I can to share Christ with others, and to bring glory to His name. So in addition to my assigned prison jobs and the various chapel activities I participate in, I've been busy writing letters to various Teen Challenge Centers as well as Native villages in remote parts of Alaska. I have also been writing to Indian chiefs in Canada, and to several First Nations churches among the Cree Indians in northern Quebec, Canada.
I love writing letters to hopefully encourage whomever I can. And only the Lord knows what the final outcome of these efforts will be. My part is to cast my bread upon the waters (Ecclesiastes 11:1). It is to "sow beside all waters" (Isaiah 32:20) and leave the results to Him. This, for certain, is a work of faith. Surely the Lord himself will accomplish the purpose for which His word was sent. And if I did not believe this, I would not be doing what I do.
