God is My Strength

My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strenght of my
heart, and my portion for ever. 
Psalm 73:26

I do not believe I have ever encountered a more prolonged period of physical exhaustion and mental tiredness than I am experiencing now...

Ever since the summer months, a weariness has set upon me unlike anything I have ever known. Yet my hope remains in the Lord. In Him do I trust.

As the Scripture says in part, "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Therefore, my victory is assured. My strength will return. This season of tiredness and chronic fatigue will come to an end.

Meanwhile, by the grace of God, I continue to persevere. I refuse to complain. I am simply learning to take whatever suffering that comes my way as part of my training. It's preparation for something else that God has in store for me.

Likewise, I hope to one day exchange my cross of pain for a glorious crown. One day I will see my Savior face to face and behold His beauty. A heavenly host, an innumerable company of angels, will be there too.

Thus, the matter is settled. With God's help, I shall endure. For Jesus is my portion, forever.
