So many are stressed out…
It's a world filled with pain and fear as a deadly virus stalks our planet. My question is, what should a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ do?
Jesus taught that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves, and as the Lord laid down his life for humanity, we too should lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters, as we look for ways to be a help and blessing to them.
While the Coronavirus leaves behind a wake of sickness and death, the disciple of Christ should bring to others the sweet aroma of our Lord. Death is the Devil's work. But life is God's work. Our mouths, therefore, should speak words of life, love, and hope.
As a child of God, we need to be demonstrating His love. The Christian should be seeking ways to meet the needs of others, both physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This consists of comforting those who mourn and praying for the sick. We should also pray for the medical professionals who are on the front lines of the battle, and for emergency personnel, as well. Doing this should come automatically.
Most of all, we should be honoring the Lord by lifting up His name, while presenting to as many as possible the message that "Jesus Saves."
