Be not overcome with evil, but
overcome evil with good.

The panic over the COVID-19 pandemic, and the pent-up anger and rage that has been simmering for a long time over allegations of police brutality and the mistreatment of minorities, has now risen to the surface. Fear and anger, when combined together, make for an explosive mix. America is seeing the reality of this.
With lawlessness comes destruction, followed by suffering and sorrow. This may give the impression that evil is winning. But I say, "Not so!"
The holy Bible teaches us that if we seek for it, good can triumph over the bad. But we have to do exactly what the Word of God says. We must overcome evil by doing good. It's what I would refer to as a "spiritual law."
Willful acts of neighborly kindness, and seeking ways to help those in need, can serve to overshadow the bad things others may do. It's as if God has "stacked the deck," so to speak. If we make the effort, evil can be overcome. Not completely eliminated, however. But overcome to the point where its harmful effects are minimized.
In the end, good always wins. Peace overcomes fear. Love defeats hatred. Hurts are healed. Our nation enters a state of prosperity and rest, and God gets the praise and glory.
The Almighty has given humanity the tools to win the war against evil. Now it's up to us.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people He has chosen for His inheritance (Psalm 33:12).
