I recently received a letter from someone who suffers from anxiety and depression...
He thinks he is without hope. In my reply, I wrote that, if not for God’s intervention, I would probably not be alive today, and would certainly not be in my right mind.
In spite of my criminal past, Christ reached out to me. He spared my life. It was nothing I deserved. I have since renounced Satan, and now serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My story is one of forgiveness, redemption, and hope. It’s a story of deliverance, as well. Because had the Lord not come to my rescue, the demons of darkness would have destroyed me. As Jesus himself declares in the Scriptures, “The enemy comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; but I have come to give life, and to give it abundantly” (John 10:10).
