Sometimes a person will get bad news, and this is just what I got...
I was expecting it. I knew it would come eventually, and it did. Several recent letters confirmed it.
Storms are brewing, and I’m headed right into them. Only a miraculous intervention from the Almighty could stop them from happening.
As it stands at this moment, several media outlets are in the preparation stage of producing more “Son of Sam” related crime shows. It’s all about money, really. For me, however, it means more mental trauma. For everyone else, it’s more pointless and redundant crime dramas and documentaries, with nothing new to add to an aging and tragic story.
From what I have learned thus far, there’s a television series that’s scheduled to come out in the not too distant future. It’s already been in the works for more than a year. While I’ve nothing to do with it, I am aware of it.
In addition, within the past week, I received letters from several media companies asking for interviews and hoping for my participation. No way! I’m not interested. Neither is my permission nor my cooperation required.
I’ve no anger towards these people. I’m merely stating that this is the way it is. They’re focused on death and crime, while I’m focused on forgiveness, redemption, and hope. Obviously, then, we’re going in opposite directions. They’re moving toward darkness. I’m moving toward Light.
Nevertheless, whatever emotional storms and challenges await me, I know God will see me through them. Although painful and distressing, my heavenly Father will give me His peace. And I believe, as well, that in the end, the Lord will cause good to come out of this.
