It was a fruitful weekend...
For a fellow who's often behind on certain things that I need to accomplish, I'm happy to report that I finished several letters in which my reply was long overdue. One of which was a letter to a missionary couple in Kenya, a nation in Africa.
A little more than a week ago I wrote about my friend, Jacob and his service to the Lord in Ghana, West Africa, and how dangerous it could be. Well, the same is true for my friends in Kenya.
In such places, the threat of terrorism is very real. So in my letter I told my friends that I will continue to pray for their health and safety. Using quotes from Psalm 91, I encouraged them to continue to serve the Lord with confidence and courage.
My heart will forever be with those who are serving Christ in foreign lands and in dangerous places. Their rewards in heaven will be great, I'm sure.
