I am weary with my groaning: all the night make
I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
Psalm 6:6
I am holding on to my faith as I continue to wet my bed with tears...
I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
Psalm 6:6
I am holding on to my faith as I continue to wet my bed with tears...
Only God knows how many bottles of tearful sorrow I have already filled. It has been a lot. Maybe even more than King David (Psalm 56:8).
My unexpected transfer has given me cause for much soul-searching. And while I wish the transfer never happened, God knows best.
Meanwhile, I've been looking at several classic Scripture verses and passages as I continue to seek comfort from God's word. Romans 8:18 and 8:28, along with John 14:27 and Proverbs 3:5,6 are among them. Such heavenly words have helped to calm my spirit and soothe my soul in a time such as this. It's as if the Holy Spirit is saying to me, "David, be at peace. Be still."
