Today's worship service was refreshing...
I've been at Shawangunk for a little less than a month. I'm still feeling traumatized by my sudden transfer, especially because I was unable to say goodbye to all my friends. But, by the grace of God, I hope to make the best of the situation even though, at this juncture, my heart remains unsettled.
Worship services at Shawangunk are in some ways different than at my former facility. At Sullivan, the main worship service was held every Sunday from 10 to 11:30 in the mornings. While here, the service is in the afternoon from one o'clock to 3:30. Both fellowships have small choirs. At my former facility the choir was able to use instruments: keyboards, a guitar, and they had a full drum set. While at Shawangunk no instruments are used. Either way, everyone joins in to praise the Lord. I'll be okay here.
