The Lord is faithful to uphold and encourage me...
I'm thankful that I don't have to live life in my own strength, but in the grace and strength He provides.
I also know that all my trials and tribulations will be over with one day, and this includes the daily challenges of prison life. Even the burden of having to earn a living will come to an end.
Yes, a day is coming when I can rest from all my labors. Even the work of the ministry will be complete, and my assigned prison jobs will be finished, as well. I would call it a heavenly retirement.
I'm smiling to myself as I write this. For a day is coming when I will rejoice at being in the presence of my Lord and Savior, forever. I will see His face as I fall to my knees in gratitude for such a wonderful salvation. Amen!
