To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.

With spring on the horizon, there's no escaping the rain...

As of today, there's still a chill in the air. But as spring approaches, the rays of the sun are becoming stronger. To me, these are signs from the Creator that a new season is about to begin. Winter's over. It's time for another generation of flowers to bloom.
As a believer in Messiah Jesus, I see God's hands in all that goes on around me. Not just in nature, but in relationships with others, and in world events, be they big or small. Having been enlightened some thirty-five years ago when I had an intimate encounter with Jesus, I no longer see things the way I once did.
Back then, before I placed my faith in Jesus, I was ignorant about many things. I made terrible choices as a result. Some of which I still suffer the effects of. But that's the way life is at times. As the popular adage goes, "Live and learn."
Looking over my life, all told, I can say with full confidence, "The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever" (Psalm 136:1). He looked down favorably upon my lowly estate and saw my weakness. He saved me from my enemies, to include the devil himself. He has provided for my needs even as I live out my life in prison. His mercy endures forever! *
