I am watching as both America and the nations of the world march one step at a time towards what the Scriptures refer to as the "end times" and the "latter days"…
The grand international stage is being set for the coming New World Order, and the one whom the Bible refers to as the "Beast," the "Man of Sin," and the "Son of Perdition" (the Antichrist).
This yet to come era in human history, which the Word of God calls the time of "Tribulation," may still be years away, or it could start tomorrow. Yet the prophetic clock continues to move forward, and there is no way to make it stop.
Daniel the Hebrew prophet speaks about this. God gave his servant visions so that Daniel could in turn write down what he was seeing about the future. His purpose was to make this information available to all mankind. To this task the prophet remained faithful, and so we have his writings today.
I would like to believe that if Daniel was still living on the earth today, he would be jumping up and down excitedly saying over and over, "See, I told you so!" While the Lord Jesus would give us a warning as well. He was quoted as saying, "When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn't realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes" (Matthew 24:37-39 - New Living Translation).
Thank God for a wise and faithful Daniel.
