Like now! In this environment there is endless noise, commotion, and drama that one has to deal with every day.
By its very nature, prison is a place of restlessness. As one would imagine, there are high levels of stress behind these walls. There is anger, and aggression, too, and sometimes they will rise to the surface suddenly. When this happens, the results are usually devastating.
Therefore, as a disciple of Christ, I have to be ever so careful to surrender myself to Him each day. I also want my time to be productive. Yet the challenges of prison life are many. The days seem endless.
