The prison is being hit with a big snowstorm...
It's Tuesday morning around nine o'clock. I'm watching the snow as it falls and swirls, thousands of bright white flakes spinning in a fast-paced circular motion, carried by gale force winds. This is joy. Seeing God at work in creation is a beautiful sight.
To add to this splendid event is the news that my work assignment, at the library, is canceled for today. My boss could not make it in, obviously because of the brutal weather. But for me, it means a day off to rest and relax from my oftentimes busy schedule. This day of much snow is a blessing from the Lord.
