I didn't have to go to work this morning as my boss called in sick today...
But this gave me time to do some personal things such as writing in my journal, answering letters, and doing a Bible study as well. Working full-time has been taking a toll on me, as many days I feel drained of energy. My writing ministry is also falling further behind as my energy is expended on my job.
I also have to start on the paperwork I need to do in order for the facility's veterans organization to have our annual Memorial Day gathering and meal. Being that I'm the clerk of the organization, I have to prepare what's known as a "packet." This being a collection of letters to various prison officials and other related paperwork that has to be submitted for approval. Like many bureaucracies, the prison runs on paperwork. I thank God for the strength He gives me to get things done.
