I am deeply grateful for the prayers that are being said for me by friends and strangers alike, especially because of the upcoming fortieth anniversary of my arrest...
While I try my best to stay out of the spotlight, I would be foolish to think this event will pass with little to no media attention. This has been weighing heavily on my heart. The anniversary will not be a cause for celebration for me, however.
Even this past week, I experienced something which rarely happens. Almost every night, with the exception of maybe one or two days, my sleep was disturbed. I had troubling dreams. While last night, I actually had two separate nightmares.
I know God is always with me, even when it doesn't feel that He is. After all, I must live by faith and not by feelings. But I'm most certainly thankful for those prayers.
