When we think of angels...
...we usually think of spirit beings who exist in the realm of the supernatural but work in the natural realm, mostly unseen. But as I go through life, I have learned there are human angels as well. These being flesh and blood individuals who themselves do what we think angels would do.
In my last entry, I wrote about my friend, Debra. Today I want to share about her parents, Bill and Grace. I have known them for as long as I've known their beloved daughter. After Debbie's passing, her parents took her place in writing to me. However, a few years later it was Grace's turn to depart for heaven, thus leaving Bill to grieve alone.
Bill, however, is exactly like his daughter when it comes to sharing Christ. While he cannot sing like she did, he definitely has her love for souls. Deb's dad continues to serve the Lord, mostly by handing out gospel pamphlets, his favorite one being the story of my salvation.
Bill, like my dear friend Dan Nicholls, who passed away in 2018, would give copies to anyone who'd take them. Thus far, Bill has given out thousands of pamphlets to prisoners, residents at Teen Challenge centers, and in juvenile training schools. He hands them to strangers on the street, too. Bill even has permission from the local Walmart to set up a little booth near the store's front entrance on Saturdays in order to hand out gospel literature.
In addition, several times per year, his church sets up a gospel outreach at the local park. Here people can walk over to their stand and hear testimonies as well as receive pre-packaged bags of groceries. Bill would place a copy of my story in every bag.
I've been greatly blessed by getting to know Debra and her parents. I'm convinced angels do exist in human form, and Bill, Grace, and Debra are proof of this.*

*Of course, my three friends are not really angels,
but they could pass for them.
