While rereading my previous entry, I realized that I need to explain what Occultic Programming is…
At first glance, most would probably think I was referring to movies and television shows that feature occult themes. Not so.
Occultic Programming is one of several terms used to describe what I would refer to as the process of working on an individual's mind, with the intent to break down his resistance to the control of one or more evil spirits that originate from what is known as "the demonic realm."
Such programming involves a wearing down process that could happen in days, but most often occurs over a period of many years, depending on various factors.
This wearing down process can be likened to a common tactic used by law enforcement. This being getting someone who has been brought in for questioning, but has at first been stubbornly resistant to cooperating, to be questioned repeatedly, often for many hours, before they'd finally cave in and talk.
It happens to prisoners of war, as well. For example, not very long ago those who were believed to be suspected terrorists, were sent to a military base and prison in Cuba. There they underwent months, or even years, undergoing the rigors of techniques such a "waterboarding," or being placed on restrictive diets, or made to endure many hours of sleep deprivation, in order to weaken their resistance to providing their captors with wanted information.
Although the intentions of the authorities may have been good, thinking the end justifies the means, I'm only using these things to show that wearing someone down and causing their willpower to diminish, is not something that's far-fetched. It's actually quite common.
So it should be of no surprise for those who believe in the existence of a spiritual realm, where there are both good angels and bad demons, that such tactics can be used by the Devil and his workers, to take captive those whom they believe are most vulnerable. Those who would be easy to possess, and ultimately control.
