Remembering without ceasing your

I always want to bring words of encouragement to the men. After all, being a disciple of Christ is challenging, especially in this environment. So I read to them some of the apostle Paul’s first letter to the church at Thessalonica, now a city in Greece, where he mentions their “work of faith” and “labor of love.” I spoke on what these things may mean for us, today.
Paul, I told the men, described the work of the church as a work of faith in that we are to trust in the Lord and not upon our own feeble efforts to get things done. And that we should do this out of genuine love for others, and not out of a sense of obligation and religious duty.
I then spoke on the ways each of us could be good examples to both our brethren in Christ, and to the world at large, and to God our Father as well. How it is up to us to represent Christ well or poorly. That the choice is ours to be good examples, or bad ones.
