Once more, I sense the need to encourage my fellow servants and soldiers in Christ never to give up. Never!
I know from experience how intense Satan’s attacks can be, especially the ones that are mental in nature and thus affect our thoughts, actions, and feelings. With him, it’s primarily a game of mental warfare, although it’s spiritual in nature.
The Devil doesn’t play by the rules. In fact, the greater one’s desire is to serve the Lord, the more intense will be the attacks from the enemy. There’s no getting around this truth.
Just ask anyone who has been in combat, and they will tell you how mean, dirty, and cruel warfare is. But the antidote is to memorize the Scriptures, which is the Word of God. This is how Jesus himself withstood Satan’s temptations when our Lord was in the wilderness for forty days.
And according to the verse at the top of this page, the Holy Spirit, who dwells inside the disciple of Christ, is far more powerful than that of Lucifer.
