Things have been going well for me...
But there are always daily trials and tribulations that come up and must be faced and dealt with. And I think this is especially true in the environment I live in, as it can be so unpredictable.
Right now, I am back working full-time at the prison's 64-man Intermediate Care Program (known simply as ICP). Prior to this, I've only been working in ICP for half a day. However, the Lord led me to go back full-time, and it has been a blessing as I enjoy working with these guys.
0f course, working in ICP can be physically and emotionally draining, which is why I had to go half days for a while. But my strength has returned. In the ICP's cell block are many opportunities to share my faith, mostly on a one-to-one basis. I'm there to show them that God cares about their souls; He loves them. I'm there to be a friend, and I myself continue to live in the prison's general population.
