As it says in the Old Testament book of Haggai the prophet, "For thus saith the Lord of Hosts, 'Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations..."' (Haggai 2:6-7).
Friends, the days of living life as if it is a big joyride, are over. We are living in very perilous and troubled times. But the good news is that our hearts should remain at peace. We do not have to be afraid, nor should we be filled with worry. For the Lord is with those who have repented of their sins and placed their faith in Him. The Lord is with those who love and honor Him. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).
