Just two words make up this verse in my King James Bible, yet they speak volumes...
"Keep on rejoicing." "Never stop rejoicing." In other words, because Jesus is with me, my life should be one of joy, not of stress or sadness.
God is with me. This is a biblical fact and surely something to be thankful for. As a Christian, my hope and trust are to be found only in Him, not on people and circumstances. For Christ has promised never to abandon me; even whenever I'm facing hardships and difficulties, the Lord will be there to provide me with sufficient wisdom, guidance and strength.
I've no need to worry. I can indeed rejoice evermore. Amen!
