This morning, I wrote a letter to friends in Canada who operate an outreach ministry to prisoners and their families...
I've been corresponding with them for several years, and today I wanted to let them know what a difference Christ has made in my life.
In fact, during the first approximately ten years of imprisonment, when I was not a Christian and was practicing witchcraft and reading lots of occult literature, God was still watching over me. Why? Because He knew there would come a day when I would be open to the gospel, and that I would be ready and willing to turn from my sins with a heart of repentance, and place my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Although undeserving of God's mercy, I wrote, the Lord has continued to this present moment to watch over me and guide my steps. And even when I mess up and "miss the mark," He has not rejected me nor turned me away. Yes, Jesus makes all the difference.
